2. How long does it typically take to complete the Flexi timing MBA/Evening MBA/Weekend MBA Program? 

   Minimum 2 Years to complete the Flexi timing MBA/Evening MBA/Weekend MBA Program,with a maximum period of 5 years to complete the MBA degree.

3. Who can join?

   Applicants  who are degree holders with 10+2+3 years of instruction in English medium.

4. Do I need to be employed throughout my tenure?

   It is not necessary to be employed throughout your tenure. If your job profile demands travel / migration, you can do so and continue the MBA programme through flexi timing.

5. Tell us about the academic load
   • 2 year MBA consists of 4 semesters
   • Each semester is spread over 5 months
   • There are 7 courses per semester with a summer internship to be done between 2 years, assessed at the end of III semester.
   • Each course has a minimum of 20 instruction hours spread over a minimum of 15 weeks.
   • Semester end final examinations are conducted by Bharathiar University and a semester-long continuous assessment is done for each course by the institute.
   • Each course is for 3 credits and is assessed at 100 marks (divided as 75 for final exams and 25 for internal assessment).The minimum pass marks 50 marks out of 100.

8. How and who will conduct the Semester examinations of your MBA Programme?

   At the end of each semester, the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore conducts regular examinations for MBA programme. The examinations are conducted simultaneously for all partner institutions of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The university issues mark statements for every semester after the result is announced. During the Annual Convocation of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore MBA Degree will be awarded for the successful candidates.

10. What is the evaluation system of your MBA Programme?

    At the end of each semester, the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore conducts regular examinations for MBA programme. To qualify for a pass, a student should secure minimum 50% marks in the examinations. Internal Marks are awarded based on the continuous assessment during the course of the semester.

11. When are the classes conducted?

    Classes will be conducted in a combination of workday evenings and weekends.
    

12. Will you provide any assistance/opportunity to undergo various Soft Skill / Personality Development Courses at your campus?

    Yes! Though not a part of the regular programme, separate professional team comprising  of various consultants /trainers works to train and provide opportunities to the interested students.

13. Whether the MBA Degree offered by CKIM is recognized by AICTE?

    The MBA Degree Programme is offered by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Since, Bharathiar University is Established by Government of Tamil Nadu by an Under Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982) Recognised by UGC (1985), and Accredited by NAAC with “A” Grade, All other degrees awarded by them is legal and valid for employment / Government Jobs / UPSC etc. and equally valid for pursuing higher education in India / Abroad. AICTE does not have any jurisdiction over Universities / Deemed Universities since universities are regulated and governed by UGC Act 1956. A degree awarded by Universities is legal and valid for the appointment also as faculty member in AICTE approved institutions.

14. What is the mode of delivery of MBA Degree Program offered at CKIM.

    The mode of delivery is Conventional Face to Face .The number of hours of lecture is as prescribed by Bharathiar University. The MBA Degree offered by us is under Partner Institution Programme with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Bharathiar University (BU) Programme is offered by them, using our physical and intellectual infrastructure. All the Candidates are admitted to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore with the help of CKIM (Partner Institution). Those who admitted to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore under Partner Institution Programme are Bonafide Students of BU, Coimbatore. Though the programme is offered under Flexi Time mode, the effective face to face mode of teaching is rigorous and the MBA can be completed in 2 years (4 Semesters), as in any regular institution.

15. Whether the MBA Degree offered by CKIM is a valid and recognized Degree for Government Jobs and Higher Studies (PhD)?

    Yes. The MBA Degree offered by BU is valid and recognized Degree for Government Jobs and Higher Studies (PhD). It is offered under Partner Institution Programme with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

16. What is the procedure for admissions into CKIM MBA?
